Stageline Spring Training 2024 Recap: Training, Immersion in the Stageline World, and Mapple Taffy

The Stageline Spring Training 2024 proved to be a great success, providing participants with an experience that went well beyond basic certification. Including factory visits, networking opportunities, and comprehensive training, this event offered a genuine immersion into the Stageline universe. A look back at the key moments and the numerous benefits of this unique training.

First: What is Stageline Spring Training?

Stageline Spring Training is a week of training at Stageline’s facilities in L’Assomption Quebec, designed to educate participants on the safe and efficient operation of Stageline mobile stages. The ultimate goal of this training is for participants to leave with an official Stageline certification authorizing them to operate one or more of our stage models.   The Spring Training is perfect for companies that already own Stageline equipment and that are looking to certify new operators in their team.

This training goes beyond a simple theoretical presentation. It combines classroom learning sessions with practical, hands-on exercises, allowing participants to become concretely familiar with the various stages of setting up, dismantling, and using Stageline stages.

More specifically, Spring Training covers essential topics such as:

• Safety Procedures: Significant emphasis is placed on safety protocols to be followed during stage operation to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of everyone.
• Setup and Dismantling: Practical exercises allow participants to master the different steps of setting up and dismantling the stages, following established procedures.
• Maintenance: The training also covers aspects related to stage upkeep and maintenance to ensure their proper functioning and longevity.

The 2024 edition of Spring Training was a resounding success, bringing together participants from all over the United States (ME, FL, IL, NY, KY, MD, NH, TX) and Canada (British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec).

April 2024 even brought us a solar eclipse during the training, making this edition even more special (and challenging!)! Lunch breaks were a blast, especially with the maple taffy on snow. It was the perfect time to chill out and chat with fellow trainees and the Stageline staff. “Every year, the traditional Thursday dinner is a big deal, and 2024 was no exception. Featuring the classic Quebecois dish, poutine, it was a highlight of the week. This dinner is a cherished tradition where members of the Stageline family join in to meet the trainees and chat. It’s also the perfect time for participants to mingle with folks from other companies and states, making it a night of great food, fun conversations, and new connections.
