Yvan Miron receives the Event Safety Alliance Canada Award for Excellence in Safety

Event Safety Alliance Canada Excellence in Safety Award: Yvan Miron Recognized for 40 Years Dedicated to Raising Safety Standards in Outdoor Events

Toronto, Canada – October 22, 2025 – The Event Safety Alliance Canada (ESAC) has presented its prestigious Excellence in Safety Award to Yvan Miron, a pioneer of the event production industry and founder of Stageline Mobile Stage. This award highlights Yvan Miron’s exceptional contribution and leadership in establishing unparalleled safety standards in the outdoor events sector.

This award is to honour those who have shown “Outstanding Leadership” and gone above and beyond all others in order to further safety at events locally, nationally or internationally. Yvan Miron’s journey and his founding of Stageline nearly 40 years ago perfectly embody this distinction.

“Nearly four decades ago, I founded Stageline with a clear mission: to provide stages that redefine the standards of safety and efficiency for outdoor events,” said Yvan Miron. “The fact that our stages are used in over 30,000 annual events around the world is a testament to a fundamental conviction: safety is non-negotiable. This is the legacy I am proud to leave the industry, and I am deeply honored that the Event Safety Alliance Canada recognizes this commitment to protecting artists, technical crews, and spectators.”

Yvan Miron’s nomination highlighted his vision to create an alternative to conventional stages by designing mobile structures that meet building code standards and feature the highest wind resistance ratings. Stageline quickly became the global benchmark for safety and efficiency, transforming the approach to event safety for outdoor events.

Although he officially handed over the company’s leadership at the end of 2024 as part of a meticulously prepared long-term succession plan, Yvan Miron ensured that Stageline’s core values—innovation, safety, and efficiency—would endure for the benefit of clients, artists, and spectators.
