Celebrating 35 years of innovation

Stageline is investing over $4 million to accelerate the shift to digital manufacturing and support strong international demand for its products.

Stageline, a Quebec-based company recognized internationally in the event industry, celebrates its 35th anniversary this year and will be completing an investment of more than $4 million in digital machinery on the eve of an exceptional season in North America.

This investment will allow the company to increase its production rate while increasing the load capacity of its stages. The digital shift provides Stageline with the opportunity to refine its products and develop ground-breaking new concepts. Yvan Miron, president, and founder, is aware that manufacturing innovation requires accelerating the digital shift:

“In an industry like ours, there is always room for improvement and innovation to meet our customers’ requirements. When we started our activities, hydraulic mobile stages did not exist. Today, the tools we have at our disposal allow us to develop new concepts in natural continuity with our vision.”

The company, which has redefined the way of doing business in the outdoor event industry by combining hydraulic, structural, transportation and scenic technology in a single mobile equipment, is constantly innovating, both in the design of new products and in its manufacturing methods. Offering a range of mobile stages that can serve crowds ranging from 500 people to over 50,000 people, Stageline mobile stages are the most widely used throughout North America. The company holds the title of the manufacturer of the world’s largest mobile stage!

As festivals and events return to life in a fairly normal fashion after being severely impacted by the pandemic, Stageline, based in Montreal area, will achieve its best performance ever this year.

“We couldn’t ask for a better year for our 35th anniversary! Our stages are practically sold out until 2023 and we’re already getting requests for rentals for next summer! There is a definite sense of anticipation and enthusiasm to return to a thriving cultural life across North America. It’s heartwarming to see that people are still coming and that our community is growing. We are very grateful.”

With these new investments and this 35th year of exceptional activity, Stageline is once again honouring its reputation as a leader in innovation in the outdoor event world.
